How you can help the Drake Foundation

Please help us raise funds for Plymouth's community charity

1. Personal or Company donations.

 Make a general donation to the Plymouth Grassroots fund.

Donations can be made by cheque, cash or online.

 Join The Drake Foundation membership scheme by making an annual donation.
- Corporate annual membership (Business donors) - minimum donation £250
- Community annual membership (Individual donors) - minimum donation £10

 Hold a fundraising event to support the Plymouth Grassroots fund.

 Set up a Grassroots ‘Named Fund’ – Thanks to grassroots match funding, with a donation of £10,000 or more you can set up your own named charitable fund, supporting a cause or causes of your choice.

 Set up a Grassroots ‘Acorn fund’ - Build up a Named fund over a period of time. A donation of £4,000 per year over 3 years will grow to a £25,000 named fund with Grassroots matched funding.

2. Encourage friends and associates to support the Drake Foundation.

 Raise awareness of the Drake Foundation.

 Introduce friends and associates to the Drake Foundation .

The Benefits of supporting the Drake Foundation

 Matched funding. Through the Grassroots scheme your donations will be matched £1 for £1 with government funding. With Gift Aid and matched funding a £100 donation is worth over £250 to the fund.

 Our charity has no management costs, every penny received goes to worthy causes in our community.

 Donations we receive are helping to build an endowment fund to provide long lasting support to hundreds of voluntary groups and charities in our community. A single donation will help support many causes for many years.
